Dr. Walid el Abed is the Founder President of Global Data Excellence. He is a worldwide renowned expert and visionary in the domains of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Conversion, Metadata and Master Data Management.
For more than 12 years, Walid has defined and implemented data strategies within global organizations through data quality and data Governance implementations to achieve business process improvements. His frameworks and methodologies are unique, delivering tangible value from high quality data.
He is also a recognized international speaker and delivers training, seminars and conferences on Data Excellence from vision to value generation. Prior to founding Global Data Excellence, Walid was Business Excellence Manager at Nestlé headquarters, based in Switzerland.
Marc Vengadabady (Co-founder & Head of Services)
Marc co-founded Global Data Excellence and serves as Head of Services, responsible for professional services and customer support.
Prior to Global Data Excellence, Marc held several senior-executive roles in multinational companies like Come Computer, Silicon Graphics, Sun Microsystems,
Thomson CSF, Cap Gemini.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and his engineering experience encompasses both consulting services and product design.
In the last 10 years, Marc was involved in building enterprise-scale business intelligence and master data management solutions.
Kaveh Mossavati
Kaveh is the CFO of Global Data Excellence LTD. Kaveh Mossavati has been active as founder and entrepreneur in several corporations since 1995. Previously Kaveh has also held many director level positions at several multinational corporations.
Sylvain Siou (CTO)
Sylvain serves as Chief Technology Officer at Global Data Excellence, responsible for product management and engineering. During his 20 years plus career, Sylvain has held technical positions such as senior developer, software design architect, senior consultant before sucessfully moving to managerial positions such as CIO for media company or head of pre-sales at a major cloud computing company.
Roger Mengisen (Director Business Development)
Roger has a wealth of well over 25 years experience in both the global banking world and the IT industry in Switzerland and abroad. Starting with back office positions he quickly moved to client-oriented senior positions in Private Banking and IT solutions sales at major corporations such Zurcher Kantonalbank, UBS, Hewlett-Packard, SAS Institute, Business Objects and Red Hat. Roger is IMD educated and PMP certified.
